Product feed workflow

Feed Prep Workbench

Use Feed Prep Workbench before uploading product data to a store, marketplace, feed, or teammate.

Step 1

Validate product structure

Check handles, titles, SKUs, prices, image fields, status values, variant grouping, and generic feed-readiness signals before import.

Step 2

Clean CSV shape

Normalize headers, remove empty columns, dedupe rows, split or merge files, and prepare a cleaner import handoff.

Step 3

Export review workbooks

Turn cleaned CSV or JSON into spreadsheet-ready XLSX outputs and inspect schema-like field expectations before handoff.

Step 4

Inspect import packages

Check product images, exported files, ZIP packages, manifests, and checksums before handing product data to another system or teammate.

Workflow notes and help

Browser-local product CSV validation, feed readiness checks, header cleanup, image-field review, column profiling, and spreadsheet export before ecommerce imports.

Feed readiness signals
  • Ready to review: Required headers exist, handles/titles are filled, prices parse, image fields are populated, and variant groups have enough structure for review.
  • Needs header cleanup: Missing required fields, inconsistent headers, empty title/handle cells, or malformed CSV rows should be fixed before export.
  • Needs variant review: Duplicate handles, duplicate SKUs, option columns, and grouped variants need human review against the destination import rules.
  • Needs image handoff review: Missing image fields, suspicious image references, or unmatched image filenames should be checked with marketplace image preflight.
